I wanted to share the latest and greatest that is
happening in my kids life. It’s so exciting to see their lives begin. Seth and
Cole are wonderful men, and strive to reach goals and still support themselves.
Seth is still working at First United Methodist
Church in their facilities department. He has been there almost 3 years now. He
has moved up the ranks and pretty much get’s the pick of the schedules. He is
also been able to do the thing he has dreamed of since he started playing
football which was coaching. He is coaching High School football at Hudson Bay
HS in Vancouver, WA. So he has moved there and lives just a few blocks away. He
coaches the offensive line, the defensive line and the “C” team. He is loving
every minute of it. He has written plays for them and is highly respected by
their head coach. Last Friday the “Eagles” won their first game they have won
in 2 ½ years. He was elated. I’m extremely proud of him. He is hoping he will
be working for the school district before the end of the year.
Cole and six other people were hired temporarily at
OpConnect. They invented (or a version) of the pumps for cars that use
electric, natural gas and all the green energy. It was scheduled to end in
September. They pulled Cole aside and asked him to stay to January. Of course,
he too was very happy to say YES! Then, he was the only one left of the six and
they offered him a full time job with great benefits. He is extremely blessed
to have such a great job so quickly.
One of Cole’s other passions (among many) is fly
fishing. Well he caught his first Steelhead Saturday right after his job offer.
I have attached pictures of the boys in their various hobbies. Seth running out
join his time (the coach in the brown kackis next to #73) and pictures of Cole.
What is better the fish or his smile? He wanted Gpa to see the scale most
importantly, as it’s been passed to him and he wanted a second or maybe 3rd
generation to hang another fish on it.
I’m so proud of the men they have become and will
become. We are blessed beyond measure.

Thank for that input, Erin. I hope I can get other family members to contribute similarly. Congratulations to both of these my grandsons.
I hope everyone will understand the importance of what you have set up for us to keep in touch with our lives. If we don't remind each other we are blood for ever, then we are just strangers that get together 1 a year for what purpose?
We need to set examples for each other and our children.
BTW...the fish was even better to eat. Oh man was it good and Cole did a great job of filleting it.
